Our 2nd annual Tumble Over Grief Workshop was a ton of fun! The kids had a chance to make new friends, participate in arts and crafts entered around grief healing, and get some energy out on trampoline track and foam pit! Not sure which part of the day was their favorite between the obstacle course or ice cream sundaes to close out the day!
We concluded the day with new friendships and gratitude for the families who participated for opening up their hearts and sharing their special loved ones with us.
Thank you to Top Notch Gymnastics in Concord, NC for hosting at the gym, to KinderMourn for their support in leading our grief sessions with our arts and crafts, and an extra special thanks to all of the participating families who opened up and joined our community!
The Paint With Me event was a success! We had an amazing afternoon that included some fun and games, making new friends, and painting! Our families had an opportunity to represent their grief through art where they created separate halves of a heart and combined it in the end to make a cohesive painting. We also got to learn about favorite memories with the loved ones we were honoring.
It was a pleasure getting to know so many new families as well as see some returning families again! Thank you to Annie Gunning who brought the creative ideas on how our families can use art to represent and work through grief. And of course a special thanks to Tim and Joann at Hands Create Fine Arts Studio for hosting our Arty Party!
We had a wonderful time at the Tumble Over Grief Workshop. We had a day filled with emotions, laughter, tumbling, play, arts & crafts, and grief sessions. We finished the day with new friendships and gratitude for the families who participated for opening up their hearts and sharing their stories with us.
Thank you to the families who made this event possible, Top Notch Gymnastics in Concord, NC for hosting at the gym and planning our activities, to KinderMourn for their support in organizing the event and leading our grief sessions with our arts and crafts, and of course all of our volunteers who helped bring the day together!
The launch of the Ava Ever After Foundation was more than we could have dreamed. It truly brought tears to our eyes to see how many people came out and supported us (including those who supported from afar)! It is incredible to see the possibility of impact our story can hopefully have. We are so proud of our angel, Ava, and our God for leading us on this path to heal after trauma.
Thank you to Megan Yost Photography, Stuffed Taters and Dogs food truck, and all of our volunteers who supported this big day!
